Welcome to Mrs. Rhea's Science Lessons

The lessons you will find on this website are designed  to meet the new Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in 7th-8th  grades.  Many are taken from Missdoctorbailer.com and have been edited and rearranged and streamlined to fit the new 2024 TEKS.  They are set up for use in an interactive science notebook the size of a  composition book  for a 50 - 90 minute block.  Some of  the lessons have links for  videos from various sources that are not owned by me so occasionally a link is lost, but you can always use one of your own choosing. 

There are links for digital exit tickets for most lessons.  If they are in the attached file, they may have been rearranged on one side for print use to avoid academic dishonesty.  If one side is rearranged, and in a different order, the title is italicized on one side.

Printing the documents

The lessons on this website are in Word and you are free to download them to your computer and change the lay out, page numbers, correct typos and edit content or graphics to suit your needs.  Feel free to make any changes that will allow them  to be more useful in your classroom.

Teacher Information Document

If there is an attached teacher information document, please read it carefully.  Inside you will find a list of  materials needed, helpful hints, the  focus of the lesson and SIOP Language Objectives, etc.

The   small boxes at the top of each page are for page numbers.  I encourage  you to number the pages before printing.  It will save your sanity!
